So for July 7, 8, and 9 I was free to do whatever I wanted to. I decided to stay in Paris and go to La Comédie Française. It’s a live theatre that was founded by King Louis XIV in 1680. It has become a state theatre of France and the only one with its own acting troupe. I decide to go see Un fil à la Patte that was all about scandalous relationships. There are those who are dating but one is marrying another and the other is getting marriage proposals and such. It just turns into one big funny mess. (You can read about it here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Un_fil_%C3%A0_la_patte) It was composed of 3 acts and only 2 hours and 10 minutes long counting the intermissions. It was very funny and wonderfully done by the actors. I definitely am going to try to go back to see another show of one of their other plays while I’m here.
